Charity
In lieu of flowers or gifts, our family invites those who wish to honor Eric’s memory to consider a donation to one of two organizations that reflected what he cared deeply about: his community and the people in it.
We are grateful for any gift made in Eric’s honor and know he would be touched to see that generosity directed back into the community he loved so much.
Foodbank of Santa Barbara
The Foodbank of Santa Barbara County works to ensure that our neighbors have access to something as fundamental as nutritious food. Eric believed strongly in taking care of the community around him and helping provide for those who were less fortunate, making the Foodbank’s work especially meaningful to him.
SB Bowl Foundation
His commitment to Santa Barbara also extended beyond his career. He served on the Board of Directors of the Bowl from 1996–2004, helping secure funding for the transformative renovation. He remained a longtime supporter of the Bowl and believed in preserving it for future generations. Donations help support the Bowl’s continued preservation as well as its arts education and community outreach programs.
